Submit a sitemap to Google

Avoid the wait, submit a sitemap to Google directly using your browser. If you have a webmaster tools account, check it soon after using this; it should reflect the most recent changes while keeping the original submission date.

Put in the entire url to your sitemap.xml file.
The response should be "Sitemap Notification Received", retry otherwise.
It's recommended to use this only occasionally, when adding/removing pages or restructuring your site.
